June 18th, 2006

Ah poor Mal. 30 and no-one to share it with.

Jaysus I enjoyed them alright.

Great festival type yoke down by Cow’s Lane and into Christchurch on Saturday. Go on the Summer.

Deadly bikers and boarders everywhere.

Some poor fecker broke his board.

I bought bubbles.

Sure we were like childer.

Closer each day

June 16th, 2006

Dear Katherine,
Thank you for your e-mail.
We very much regret the disappointment caused to you by the dropping of the 6.30pm
repeat of Home and Away during week one of World Cup 2006 coverage on RTÉ Two.
RTÉ’s Head of Schedule Planning makes the following comment.
“Unfortunately World Cup coverage causes major disruption to the RTÉ Two schedule.
Due to the large number of live matches it was simply not possible to schedule
Home and Away on RTÉ Two over a 6 day period from June 12th – 16th and
Monday 19 June. Home and Away will return to the teatime schedule on RTÉ Two
from Tuesday June 20.
We accept that this has inconvenienced viewers, however we have endeavoured
to keep disruption of the schedule to a minimum.”
I would like to assure you that your complaint was included in our Audience Log,
and circulated for information to senior management in the programme division,
including the Head of Schedule Planning.

Travesty

June 13th, 2006

To whom it may concern,

I wish to complain about the scheduling of “Home and Away” during the World Cup
tournament. Understandably, due to evening matches, this programme is not being shown in
the regular slot of 6:30 on RTE2. However it is still being shown at 1:30 on RTE1, which
means that people who are unable to view it at this time will be weeks behind in their
viewing by the time the World Cup is over. Surely it would make more sense to postpone
broadcasting of this programme?

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Kind regards,
Katherine

And while you’re at it, bring back Noah.

Summer!

I am full of shame.

June 8th, 2006

You should read Clare O’Donoghue’s blog. It will make you feel like a lazy get.

Mighty weekend. Mighty.

June 5th, 2006

I’m afraid it was weekend of the million photos.
I had great fun taking pictures, and luckily I was tolerated fairly well.
Thanks.
Sorry about putting them all here, but the oul’ flickr bandwidth limit was passed long ago.

In short, we had wedding, dossing around town, roof soiree courtesy of Kathriona,
walks in Howth, and frisbee in Iveagh Gardens. Go on the bank holidays.
