All around the houses

April 26th, 2006

Mal and I, on Monday, went around all the houses in Dublin we’ve lived in. It took us ages, and the feet were walked off us, but it was a bit of craic. I felt like I’d never left any of the ones I’d lived in. I’ve attempted to put them in some kind of chronological order, but I don’t think it’s quite right. Ah nostalgia.

IMMMMMMMMMMMA

April 24th, 2006

On Saturday I went to IMMA with Thomas. He has a new camera too, so we had a photo face-off. Nah, we didn’t. I wish though. We went to see the Magnum photo exhibition so we could laugh at the class of thing people used to be up to years ago in Ireland. Sure you wouldn’t be up to them.

Turns out Jude was in the Janes before me.

I was a bit spooked walking down here as I thought (s)he might follow me.

I’m never gonna dance again, my eye. Check out yer man yonder throwing shapes.

This is TQ’s camera (I think it likes me).

This is him using it.

Nice gardens at IMMA all the same.

Smell-ee.

Sunny wha'?

Our sink, Mark-V-weird-sideways-style

Nuff said really.

Thomas bought us this painting which is lovely. All we need now is a hook for it.

This little fecker was buzzing all the buzzers and throwing himself against the door until I (heroically) shouted “Hey!”.

Nice colouredy washing.

That’s the garden and best of all, you can’t see the scum settling from there.

Eh up, just to prove it were sunny.

Here’s another one from on the roof

Well Mal and I went on a momma walk today, first to Temple Bar,

Then up to Portobello and down the ‘nal.

Not the cleanest canal in the world by a long stretch.

Then down around the docks.

Then up to the IFSC,

Where we had a little rest.

But then we saw this sign so we had to stop.

New camera

April 9th, 2006

Well, I got me new camera! (But am still learning how to use it)

Got the train to Dun Laoghaire to meet Thomas
and go for a walk and an unplanned shop.

He bought two CDs.

Very eclectic tastes.

And Mal made the tea.

WHAT?
